How to plan a wedding here

What to decide, what to ask, and what we will need from you — in the order it actually comes up.

Start here

Four stages, in the order they actually happen

This is how planning tends to unfold at Mango Hills. It is not a universal timeline — every couple runs at a different pace, and your coordinator sets the real dates once your date is held.

Before you enquire Guest count, date range, budget
{{ sign.p1 }}
Agree a guest count range rather than a single number — 50, 100 and 180 sit at different points in the package.
Pick a target month and two or three candidate dates. Weekends book furthest ahead.
Decide who is helping fund the day, and bring them into the conversation early.
Decide whether you want a church ceremony beforehand, or the whole day at one venue.
Choosing the venue What to ask on the ocular
{{ sign.p2 }}
Which ceremony setting suits your guest count, and where does everyone sit if it rains?
What is actually in the package, and what sits outside it?
How many hours do you have, and what does an extra hour cost?
Where do guests park, and how do older guests get from the parking to the ceremony?
Which suppliers are in-house, and what happens if you bring your own?
What confirms the date, and what does not?
After you reserve What we will need from you
{{ sign.p3 }}
Final package and event details, confirmed in writing.
Menu selection, after your tasting.
Contact details for any suppliers coming from outside.
Your floor plan and guest arrangement.
A soft copy of your guest list and invitation.
Visual references for the cake and the bridal bouquet.
The final stretch Deadlines your coordinator sets
{{ sign.p4 }}
Guest-count changes, menu choices and crew meals each have their own cut-off — your coordinator confirms these with you directly rather than applying one rule to every event.
House rules and event-day reminders are walked through with you before the date.
Bring your essentials list: rings, licence or certificate, and anything with sentimental value you do not want left to a supplier.
